Our Mission is to support our School and Students
Provide effective communication for parents, students, and staff.
* Sponsor Back to School night.
* Prepare and distribute the Kennedy Directory.
* Maintain an informative PTSA webpage.
* Maintain JFKPTSA and group listservs.
Maximize involvement in PTSA by parents, students, teachers, and the community.
* Offer regular monthly meetings for membership participation.
* Establish a network of volunteers for committees and functions.
* Encourage participation in MCCPTA and Maryland PTA activities.
Provide resources to enable parents and students to make informed choices.
* Provide meetings on community and school related issues.
* Provide special programs for parents, students, and teachers on designated topics (ex., driving, substance abuse, parenting, and job & college information).
* Provide web links on PTSA webpage to resource sites.
Support Kennedy High School by providing meaningful activities, opportunities, and assistance.
* Provide network of volunteers to support identified school staff needs.
* Maintain good relations and acknowledge the contributions of the School Staff through recognition programs throughout the year.
* Sponsor the After Prom Party
* Sponsor Staff appreciation
