Communications via e-mail listserv
Please join the JFKPTSA Listserv to get information about the school and connect with other Kennedy families. To join simply send an email including your name to: listserv@jfkptsa.org. It is free for anyone interested and you do not have to be a PTSA member.
A couple reminders to all about using the listserv…
- If you want to send a message to the listserv, address it to JFKPTSA@yahoogroups.com
- Using the REPLY button in you email program, only the sender of the original message will receive your reply.
- If you want to your reply to go to the whole group, use the REPLY ALL button in your email program.
A good practice whenever using email (for listservs or anytime) is to always double check the recipient list (TO: and CC: ) before clicking the SEND button to make sure the message is going where you want it to.
The listserv is designed to protect everyone on the listserv.
- All new members must be approved
- Only members can send messages to the group
- You can NOT send anonymous messages (hide your email address)
- The group is not public, non-members can not see it
The default is that you receive each individual message as it is sent. However, if you would prefer to receive just one daily digest of all messages sent each day, just let us know and we will be happy to change it for you.
